Historic Renovation Residence
Brought on shortly after construction began, we joined a 2-year, to-the-studs restoration project with the aim of bringing a historic and beloved home up-to-date for a young family, while preserving and highlighting the details that make homes like this rare. A significant revision to the home’s floorplan introduced an open kitchen and ensuite bathrooms, as well as gracious living spaces on all floors. At the request of our clients, this home features decorative schemes that rely heavily on color and texture. This project also found us combing through several thousand square feet of warehouse and a catalog of family treasures that help add to the final result of a home that looks like it was never renovated and instead thoughtfully preserved.
